Orly Cut the Cake swatch

Have you seen this color?  OMG.  It's divine.  It's like crushed pearl on your nails.  :,) It's part of Orly's permanent collection, found under the Sparkling Glitters section.  They are .6 fl oz, which is .10 fl oz more than the standard amount.  The cap is rubberized and is very easy to grip.  They retail for $8.50 and can be purchased right from Orly's website.  You can also buy them from Sally Beauty Supply.  I have had this one for a while now, and believe I bought it from CVS.  On with the pics!  Click for full effect!

Zoya Paz 477 swatch

From Zoya's website: Ultra-bright glowing neon traffic-cone orange creme. This outrageous shade is sure to stop traffic.

Please, for the safety of your retinas, don your sunglasses.

They aren't kidding when they say ultra bright.  This is an extremely bright color, and not for the least faint of heart.  This would look great at Halloween too!  I normally don't do bright colors, but I'm missing Fall.  Halloween is Fall, and I wear a lot of black.  haha

Formula on this is good.  Applied quickly with no issues, and dried fast.  You can see a visible difference in it as it dries.  It dries slightly darker, but re-brightens when top coat is applied.

Two coats of color with top coat, in swatches.

Zoya Giselle 356 swatch

Today I swatched Zoya Giselle 356.
Zoya's website describes this polish as: Warm creamy orange-peach nude sheer with a creme finish. Excellent for warm skin tones, creates a perfect French manicure or nude look.

I liked this after one coat.  When I applied two coats, it looked too salmon like for my skin tone.  It's a sheer color, and can look streaky if applied wonky.  Just make sure you have enough on the brush.

This is definitely a warm-toned polish.  I think this color would look amazing on darker, warm toned skin.  I am very light and it just doesn't look right on me with two coats.  On with the pictures!

Layering with Zoya Rekha & Milla!!

Over the 4th of July I had polished my nails red with sparkles.  I chose Zoya Rekha from the Bibhu Mohapatra collection (Rekha is coming out in the Fall collection, YAY!), and Zoya Milla, originally from the Glitterati collection.

Rekha is a gorgeous red cream that is as beautiful as could be.  I want this in a lipstick.  Milla is a very pretty, sparkly, slightly sheer orangy-red.  Because it's slightly sheer, it is perfect to go over other colors to lend and borrow color to the undercoat.  I did two coats of Rekha, and one coat of Milla.  I allowed plenty of time to dry in between coats because I was layering.  I was going to bed after this, so I wanted to make sure I didn't wake up with sheet marks.

These pictures were taken two days after polishing.  Click on the pictures for the full effect!

Zoya Surf Collection vids!

If a picture is worth a thousand words, what do HD vids command?  :,)  Two videos, showing the gorgeous Surf collection!

These colors are fabulous and sparkly! The formula on these are very unique. Full coverage, fast drying, and sort of mousse like. If you apply it thickly, you will have bubbles. Apply thinly, allow to dry, and apply a second thin coat. Try not to over-stroke the polish on. This can, and usually does (in my experience) cause bubbles.

Watch in HD! Enjoy!

Sent to me for review, opinions are my own.

Zoya Wednesday 619

From Zoya:  Faded dirty medium turquoise with green undertone and an opaque cream finish. A very stylish shade with a funky yet easy to wear vintage look.

This turquoise is definitely different than other colors I have.  It reminds me of the color of my vintage Boston pencil sharpener I have.

Sparkle Gloss top coat on ring finger.  Click pics for better view.
